Tove's boyfriend woke up just before 06 a.m. The night before, Tove has left the apartment to go out to the pub and her boyfriend is now worried because she has not returned.

"I tried to call Tove first, but came to answering machines. I sent both a text message and one on Snapchat asking where she was. Got no response," he told police.

Calling Tove's boyfriend

Earlier in the night, he received a text message from Tove that she and the 20-year-old had an argument. He also knows that the women are later on their way home to the 20-year-old's apartment. He tries to call the 20-year-old, but she doesn't answer. Later, she calls back.

"She said that Tove had left several hours ago and that she was probably with her father," the boyfriend says.

Sending text messages

The next day, the 20-year-old sends a text message to Tove's boyfriend in which she writes that she hopes Tove will be back soon.

"Now it's a tough time for relatives, I know we don't talk so mkt anymore but this is a bizarre situation no one should have to end up in and is there anything I can do for you [boyfriend's name] so tell Yes try to be the police as helpful as I can and yes send support to❤ you o family"

Claims to be worried

Both the 20-year-old and the 18-year-old are trying to keep up appearances for relatives, friends and others who express their concerns about missing Tove.

The 18-year-old's father sends a text message asking if she has heard that Tove is missing. She replies:

"yes shared it on snapp!! Absolutely sick!"

And they stick to their stories for weeks before they start telling what really happened.

Both women deny the crime of murder, but admit to transporting the body away.
