– Despite the fact that we are used to working with difficult cases, this case stands out, says Rickard Finndahl, group manager for the police's serious crime group in the Highlands and in Värnamo.

The preliminary investigation, which was submitted to Eksjö District Court on Friday and concerns, among other things, murder and aggravated grave peace, is 2,354 pages. Rickard Finndahl says that he is grateful for the help that the police and prosecutors have received from the public in Vetlanda ever since October when Tove disappeared.

"The support we have received is fantastic. We have wanted to get material from different places in Vetlanda and we have received such a fantastic reception and it has helped us to work quickly with this preliminary investigation.

The fact that it took so long for the suspected women to begin to account for the course of events herself was surprising to the investigation team, according to Finndahl.
