An event was held at the Museum of Fine Arts in Paris, France, to familiarize visitors with Japan traditional culture and pop culture, and a French judo gold medalist also took the stage to liven up the venue.

A special exhibition of kimonos is held at the Musée du quai Branly in Paris, which houses many Asian artworks, and about 200 kimonos from the Edo period to the present day are on display, introducing the transition of kimono as clothing and fashion.

On the evening of the 17th, the museum held an event to familiarize visitors with Japan culture in conjunction with the special exhibition, and the exhibition was open to the public free of charge, and Japanese taiko drum performances and cosplay shows of anime characters were held, which was crowded with many people.

Teddy Riner, a two-time Olympic judo gold medalist in the over 100-kilogram category, took the stage to share his encounter with judo and episodes from his trip to Japan.

He also mentioned that France defeated Japan to win the mixed team championship at the Tokyo Olympics, saying, "I'm sure Japan will come to see the humiliation," and expressed his enthusiasm for next year's Paris Games.

In an interview, Riner said, "I became interested in Japan culture through judo, and Japan has become a part of me, and every time I go, I make discoveries."
