BEIJING, March 3 (ZXS) -- What is home? It is an alley with an authentic Beijing taste, a train that runs through Alishan, and a lively fish drunken dragon festival... At the "18th Cross-Strait Children's Art Exhibition - Beijing Exhibition", which opened in Beijing on the 18th, more than 200 paintings by young people from both sides of the strait, Hong Kong and Macao told the public the story of "home".

The theme of the exhibition is "Art 'Narration' Home", with three sections: "Children's Painting World", "Contemporary Dialogue Future" and "Flying Together". Among them, "Children's Painting World" selected about 250 excellent works from more than <>,<> paintings by young people from the cross-strait, Hong Kong, Macao and Malaysian Chinese regions, presenting children's understanding and experience of "home"; Through the exhibition of many sculptures by artist Li Jiang, "Contemporary Dialogue for the Future" guides the public to think about the protection and inheritance of intangible culture; "Flying Together" joins hands with the "Dandelion Action" art public welfare project, inviting students from the Central Primary School of Kino Township, Jinghong City, Yunnan Province, to depict the cultural characteristics of the Kino ethnic group in the form of prints, showing the unique charm of the diverse culture of the Chinese nation.

Huang Wentao, Director of the Exchange Bureau of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said in his speech that the Cross-Strait Children's Art Exhibition has been held for more than ten years since 2009 and has become an important platform for cross-strait cultural and youth exchanges. This exhibition brings together the works of children from 31 provinces and municipalities in the mainland, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and I believe that their love and longing for home will become a new starting point for children on both sides of the strait to continue to work together to create a better future in the future.

The Straits Economic and Technological Cooperation Center is one of the organizers of the exhibition. Luo Limin, deputy director of the center, said that children on both sides of the strait used their pens to paint a picture of their homes. These paintings are full of yearning for a better life in the future and expectations for peaceful development across the strait, and also show the diversity and uniqueness of the Chinese family. The exhibition builds a bridge for the two sides of the strait to jointly carry forward the excellent Chinese culture and the feelings of home and country, and plays a positive role in cultivating the friendship of compatriots on both sides of the strait and promoting spiritual harmony.

The exhibition attracted many people to visit. Ms. Xiong Jie, a citizen, brought her child to visit the exhibition, and she told reporters that her child's works were selected for exhibition and came to see it today. "The children's paintings are very colorful, vivid, vivid, and everyone has a particularly deep memory of their hometown."
