On Friday, the Prosecutor's Office sent out a press release about the double murder in Luleå.
– Due to the fact that incorrect information has been spread in social media in particular, the prosecutor wants to provide clarification about the double murder in Luleå, they write in the mailing.
Witness to parts of the incident
Prosecutor Åsa Valter comments on the case.
"The case involves a family of four people living at the crime scene. No outsider is a suspect. A man and a woman in the family are deceased and a 19-year-old man is suspected of a crime. The father in the family is a witness to parts of the sequence of events and himself a plaintiff for a serious unlawful threat, she said.
The prosecutor: "He has confessed"
The suspected 19-year-old was taken into custody on Friday, March 10. He is on probable cause suspected of two counts of murder.
