The clashes Manchester City-Bayern Munich and Real Madrid-Chelsea are the two main posters of the quarter-finals of the Champions League, scheduled for April 11-12 (first leg) and April 18-19 (return), according to the draw made on Friday.

Manchester City, still looking for a first title in the Champions League, will play Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals, while the other big poster will oppose Real Madrid, defending champions, to Chelsea, according to the draw made Friday in Nyon (Switzerland).
For the other two quarters, there will be a 100% Italian clash between AC Milan and Napoli, while the other representative of Serie A, Inter Milan, will challenge the Portuguese Benfica. The two winners will face each other in the semifinals.
England's Manchester City with their attacking weapon Erling Haaland, who scored a quintuple this week, and Italy's Napoli, current leaders of Serie A, are the only two teams not to have won the competition. For the first time since the 2005-2006 season, three Italian clubs are in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Last year, they had no representatives in the top 8, just like the France.
Like last year, at the same stage of the competition, Real Madrid will meet the Blues of Chelsea. Only difference: Real will receive in the first leg and travel to Stamford Bridge for the return leg. For the semi-finals, also drawn on Friday at UEFA headquarters, the winner of the AC Milan-Napoli duel will face that of Benfica-Inter in a very Italian part of the table.
The other semi-final will look great with the winner of Real-Chelsea against that of City-Bayern.
The quarter-finals of C1 are scheduled on April 11 and 12 for the first legs and April 18 and 19 for the return. The semi-finals will take place on 9 and 10 May, and then on 16 and 17 May, before the final will be played on 10 June in Istanbul.
