Karlskrona municipality conducts voluntary drug tests at its upper secondary schools. During an academic year, 35 classes are raffled off and depending on the size of the classes, around four to six students are raffled off who are offered to take the drug test.

But according to Alfie Carlsson, who is chairman of the Liberal Youth Association in Blekinge and studies the aesthetic program, it was not clear before the raffle of students that the test was voluntary.

"That's why I react so strongly because if it hadn't been voluntary, it would have been a restriction on our constitution," says Alfie Carlsson.

Pigs and fascist numbers

He reacted strongly on social media after drug tests were conducted in his class. He called the social educators pigs and said they gave a fascist speech before the draw of the students.

"Since it did not appear that it was voluntary, I thought it was such a hugely gross invasion of privacy that it justified this choice of words," says Alfie Carlsson.
