According to the minister, at the moment more than 1 million 100 thousand applications for additional gasification have been submitted, while about 730 thousand applications have already been satisfied.
"The number of concluded contracts from accepted applications is 92%. Gas has been brought to the borders of more than 504 thousand plots. The level of gasification in the country reached 73%," SHulginov was quoted as saying by TASS.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier that the program of free gasification in the Russian regions will be continued.
He stressed that the program will operate on an ongoing basis for citizens.
Putin also set the task in the next ten years to provide main gas to Buryatia and Transbaikalia.
