Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M) summons the food giants after the latest inflation figure.
"It is unacceptable if there are actors who raise prices unnecessarily," she says after the inflation announcement.
S earlier on Wednesday called the government to a parliamentary debate on food prices, which have risen 21 percent in a year.
"The government does not seem to have any crisis insight and does not act, then we will have to discuss it in the Riksdag," says former Finance Minister Mikael Damberg (S).
