He noted that, according to preliminary data, the Armed Forces of Ukraine "suffered sensitive losses in personnel." Russian troops also destroyed five Ukrainian tanks and two armored personnel carriers.
"The surviving Nazis, who are part of the breakthrough group, were forced to roll back to their original positions," Rogov said.
Earlier, Rogov said that the Russian military in the Pologovsky district of the Zaporozhye region repelled an attack by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
