- One of the arrested is suspected of the murder of Kattrumpan in February 2022, says Johan Henningsson, prosecutor.
According to the police, the suspects were arrested after police operations in Norway and Stockholm.
A total of thirteen people are now under arrest or in custody for involvement in the shootings and attempted murders that occurred in Kalmar last year.
- The murders have connections to an ongoing conflict between criminal groups.
The five people are all known to the police from before.
Two of them are connected to Kalmar.
Woman suspected of Kalmar crime
Four of the suspects are men between 20 and 25 years old, one is a woman in her 25s.
On Wednesday morning, the prosecutor filed a detention petition for aiding and abetting the attempted murder of the woman.
She is from Stockholm and has been in custody since Sunday.
The five people are suspected of complicity in crimes such as murder, incitement to murder, attempted murder, preparation for murder, and serious weapons offences.

The crimes in which the five suspects are said to be involved occurred in January 2022, August 2022, December 2022 and January 2023.
