The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a minor on March 8 for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Esparreguera (Barcelona), Catalan police sources explained to Europa Press on Wednesday.

The events happened at the home of the alleged aggressor, in the town where both live, the young woman denounced him on March 7 and the next day he was arrested, remaining at the disposal of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.

As El Periódico has advanced and sources close to the investigation have confirmed to Europa Press, the alleged aggressor, 15 years old, has been imposed a restraining order 250 meters from the victim, issued by a juvenile court, which decreed the supervised release of the young man.

El Periódico reports that the two minors had family problems and went to the same socio-ducative reinforcement center. He also mentions the existence of a video of both.
