A woman from Alicante has shared on social networks the bill of 211 euros that has come from the firefighters of that city for the rescue they carried out the day they avoided their suicide. The girl stresses that she did not ask for help from emergency services.
"To pay 211 euros that I do not have and they will still have the little shame of calling it suicide prevention," says the woman in her message about the bill that has come a year after she tried to take her own life by taking medication.
In addition, according to the girl, during the rescue she just told the firefighters that one of her big concerns was the lack of money. "I remember how that day crying I verbalized my economic situation and they told me that it did not matter," she says. "Being poor seems to them to have nothing to do with wanting to die and getting even poorer about it," he adds.
