The US "New York Times" recently reported that intelligence reviewed by US officials showed that a pro-Ukrainian organization was the culprit for the bombing of the "North Stream" natural gas pipeline in September 2022.

According to Reuters, Patrushev expressed doubts about the US media's reports in an interview with Russia's "Arguments and Facts". Such an audacious act of sabotage.

He cautioned that such an operation would require equipment and well-trained special forces.
Both the United States and the United Kingdom have special forces capable of creating sabotage activities similar to the "North Stream" explosion.
Patrushev also stated that Ukraine has not lost or gained anything due to the destruction of the "North Stream" pipeline, and the country really does not need to launch such a terrorist attack.
He also believes that the United States is forcing German leaders to accept the "Nord Stream" sabotage operation in Washington's favor.
"Maybe that's why German Chancellor Scholz was asked to visit Washington as soon as possible to meet with Biden. The United States has been humiliating Germany and showing its status to Germany." Patrushev said.
Patrushev pointed out that, unlike other countries, Germany understands that the terrorist attack on the "Nord Stream" pipeline will definitely lead to a further decline in the country's economy.
