According to the speaker of the State Duma, "delegations from 37 countries of the African continent will take part in the conference."

It is noted that bilateral meetings with the chairmen of the parliaments heading the delegations of the countries participating in the Russia-Africa conference will also begin on March 16.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said that the topic of food security would become a priority at the Russia-Africa summit, which will be held in St. Petersburg in July this year.
