Sunday's quarter-final was played at Kalmar FF's training ground Gastens IP.

Something that led to a worse standard in the changing rooms than what Allsvenskan teams are used to.

It has caused Mjällby AIF to deliver a sour peck on social media, before Mjällby's U21 team receives Kalmar at Strandvallen on Monday (see picture).

"Getting started on this sort of thing"

Anders Torstensson, the team's head coach, explains.

- It's a dick with a twinkle in its eye, more aimed at the federation than Kalmar FF.

But we're going out there in a barrack without water, toilet or massage benches and give the half-time talk.

It is the association that has decided that there must be a changing room available near the field, and then this piss solution is approved in pure Swedish, he says.

And yet you won?

- Haha yeah.

We're getting started on this sort of thing, we're used to it.

But the association would never have agreed to this if it concerned another team.

SVT Nyheter Blekinge seeks the Swedish Football Association and Kalmar FF for a comment.

Hammarby or AIK in the semi-finals

On Monday evening, it will be decided whether Mjällby gets to meet Hammarby or AIK in the semi-finals at Strandvallen on Saturday.

- They are both brutally good football teams, but they have not been on track all pre-season.

It will be exciting to see who we meet, says Anders Torstensson.

But they get better dressing rooms?

-

Hammarby or AIK probably don't think so, but it's better than the conditions we had.
