There is a fire in a garage with heavy smoke as a result.
The rescue leader urges everyone in the area to go indoors and close doors, windows and ventilation.
The alarm came just before 04:00 on Sunday morning and the police are assisting the emergency services during the extinguishing work.
- One or two stairwells have been evacuated as there is a residential building nearby, says Anders Wennergren, officer on duty at the police in the West region.
Around 7:30 the emergency services had gained control of the fire and an hour later only one unit was left on the scene.
The VMA was also cancelled.
- They are staying for a little post-extinguishing and will leave at 9, then we will hand over to the property owner, says Stefan Johansson, officer on duty at the central Skaraborg rescue service.
The case is currently classified as arson.
