After six days of mobilizations against the pension reform since its announcement on January 10, a seventh day of rallies is scheduled for Saturday March 11.

In this context, the intersyndicale has just sent a letter to the president whom they consider insensitive to popular demands.

Two demonstrations are already noted on the calendar of the unions, to challenge the pension reform wanted for the government of Elisabeth Borne.

This Saturday, as well as March 15, the French will take to the streets again, while a record mobilization was recorded after the last, as the demonstrators were numerous.

But faced with a situation intact since the announcement of the bill, the inter-union demands answers from the one who defends it.

A letter has therefore been sent to Emmanuel Macron from the leaders of the unions, who ask to be received urgently by the latter.

The first opponents of the bill justify the choice of the President of the Republic, rather than the ministers Elisabeth Borne and Olivier Dussopt, by the reason of the evidence.

Pension reform: Emmanuel Macron gives his instructions before leaving for Africa

“He is in denial, he does not listen”

"Because he is the head of state, it is up to him to respond to the demonstrations and to the population which massively rejects this pension reform project. If he does not do it, it is because he does not hear the French. Tomorrow, there may be a population that rejects his policy even more massively, "announces Patricia Drevon, the confederal secretary of Force Ouvrière.

In its letter, the inter-union warns of the risk of an explosive situation, if the reform is maintained.

Also denounced, the silence and inaction of the president in the face of the anger expressed in the streets of the country, especially since the last time he spoke on the subject dates back to 10 days, when he visited the Salon of Agriculture.

For the protesters, the head of state is responsible for the escalation in the social debate.

"He is in denial, he does not listen, necessarily, it raises tensions", deplores this union leader to Europe 1. If Emmanuel Macron agrees to receive the union leaders, the meeting could be held Monday or Tuesday , between the next two days of mobilization.
