A 48-year-old Nigerian, "Jeff Joy", was extradited from Abuja.
She arrived, handcuffed, in Rome, at Ciampino airport, Wednesday, March 8.

", she is accused of being one of the heads of a vast prostitution network.

"Jeff Joy", real name Omoruy Chrity, also nicknamed "Mommy", herself a former prostitute, played a leading role in organizing trafficking aimed at bringing young women from Nigeria, according to Italian police .

It was made possible by a decision of the Federal High Court in Abuja, confirmed by the Nigerian political authorities , then formalized during a meeting on February 10 between the Nigerian Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami and the Italian Ambassador Stefano De Leo.
