A satellite video showed dramatic activity of tropical cyclone Freddie in the Indian Ocean, near the coasts of Madagascar and Mozambique.

According to the United Nations World Meteorological Organization, Freddy, which formed near northwest Australia last February, is about to become the longest-running tropical cyclone in history.

Madagascar is witnessing the second passage of the massive hurricane recently, as the first passage was on February 21, before moving 3 days later towards Mozambique.

According to the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs, 4 people died last Monday, bringing the number of victims of the rains caused by the hurricane to 11.

It is noteworthy that the floods that resulted from those rains have caused the displacement of more than 3,100 people, in addition to the destruction of more than 3,300 homes.
