“Reports that the US government has anything to do with underwater explosions on the Nord Stream pipelines are laughable,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Price added that investigations into sabotage are being carried out by Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

When asked if he rejected The New York Times's data that a pro-Ukrainian group could have blown up the pipelines, Price said he didn't rule out or confirm anything.

He suggested not getting ahead of ourselves until the end of the investigation.

According to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, the US and Britain are using the method of controlled leaks in the case around the “investigation” of the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream, as has happened many times before.

According to the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, the shareholders of Nord Stream should insist on a transparent investigation.

He noted that the Russian side is still not allowed before the investigation.

American journalist Seymour Hersh previously published an investigation into US involvement in the Nord Stream incident.

The Hersh investigation alleges that US divers mined Nord Stream under the cover of the BALTOPS 22 exercise, which took place in the Baltic Sea from June 5 to June 17, 2022.
