A video clip circulating on Iraqi social media platforms raised Iraqis' dissatisfaction with the continued collapse of the health sector, as the video showed a decline in the level of hygiene and care in Al-Alwiya Children's Hospital in Baghdad.

The video, which was circulated the day before yesterday, Saturday, documented the children’s parents sitting on the floor of one of the most important and largest hospitals – Al-Alwiya Hospital – for the treatment of children in Baghdad, due to the lack of special chairs for auditors and escorts in the emergency unit.

The video showed the floor of the Al-Alawi Children's Hospital, which appeared very dirty, while the cleaning tools were placed in the corridor leading to the emergency lobby, and not in the places designated for them, until tweeters described it as more like an "animal slaughterhouse."

According to local Iraqi media, the resident doctor in the emergency department was absent from work for more than an hour, which sparked panic, anxiety and anger among the patients' families.

Neither Al-Alawi Hospital in Baghdad nor the Iraqi Ministry of Health issued any statement or response to what has been reported through the media and social networking sites so far.

A copy of it to @mohamedshia Dear Abu Al-Jais, this clip is not for the floor of one of the animal slaughterhouses. It is #Al-Alwiya_Hospital in the center of Baghdad, with no resident doctor inside the hospital, and the children and their families are lying on the ground, waiting for the vulva pic.twitter.com/dGcs9Uhk53

Commenting on the circulating clip, blogger Walaa Hamid said on his Twitter account, "This clip is not the floor of one of the animal slaughterhouses. It is Alwiyah Hospital in central Baghdad, with no resident doctor inside, and children and their families lying on the ground awaiting relief. A copy of it to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani." ".

This is the case of the (Al-Alawiya) hospital in Baghdad.

While the activist and blogger Tamara Al-Khazraji wrote, "This filth is in Al-Alwiya Hospital in Baghdad. Despite this, Al-Sudani and his entourage and drummers are proud of painting the walls of Al-Kadhimiya Hospital as an achievement for his government. Leave the filth of the floor and walls, but this is an example of the neglect of the administration in this hospital and the corruption of the Ministry of Health. May God not grant you success." This filth is in Al-Alwiya Hospital in Baghdad, and despite that, Al-Sudani, his entourage, and those who demand that he paint the walls of Al-Kazemi Hospital are proud of it as an achievement of his government!
