While a great day of mobilization against the pension reform is expected this Tuesday, Aurore Bergé, president of the Renaissance group in the National Assembly, returned to the Grand Rendez-vous on the debates which took place in the hemicycle .

Criticizing the behavior of the LFI and RN deputies, Aurore Bergé affirmed that "France Insoumise promotes the rise of the far right in France".

In an interview with the newspaper

Le Parisien

, the Minister of Labor Olivier Dussopt affirmed that the pension reform was "a reform of the left which could have been carried out by a social-democratic government".

A reform however largely rejected by the left, as was seen during the stormy debates in the National Assembly.

A few days before, in the columns of Le

Monde

, the Minister of Labor had also affirmed that Marine Le Pen "was much more Republican than many others", during the debates in the Assembly.

Guest of the Grand Rendez-vous d'Europe 1 / CNews / Les Échos, the president of the Renaissance group in the National Assembly Aurore Bergé returned to the subject, castigating the behavior of the deputies of La France Insoumise, as well as the deputies of the Rassemblement national.

According to her, "France Insoumise promotes the rise of the far right in France".

"The left is completely subject to Jean-Luc Mélenchon"

"The same people on the left who sit today in the National Assembly voted for the Touraine reform" in 2014, which provides for an extension of the contribution period to 43 years.

This reform was carried by the Minister of Social Affairs Marisol Touraine under François Hollande.

“On the question of the contribution period, we are accelerating a device that the left voted for, that the left chose, that the left wanted to implement and today it is they who deny themselves. deny on the question of pension reform, that they explain to us how we could finance our retirement pensions”, hammered Aurore Bergé.

According to the president of the Renaissance group in the Assembly, the LFI deputies would have a "double discourse", different in the hemicycle and "behind the scenes".

"The problem is that the left in the National Assembly is completely subject to Jean-Luc Mélenchon. He is no longer even a deputy, he is no longer even party president. But in truth, it is he who gives the orders. And in the end, the communists, the socialists, the ecologists are subjected to it. They have no other choice. They come to see us behind the scenes, tell us that they are uncomfortable with the practices . There is a double discourse“, she says at the microphone of the Grand Rendez-vous.

"Rebellious France favors the extreme right by its behavior"

According to her, these elected officials "signed an electoral agreement with Nupes to save their seats. They accepted an electoral program which they know full well cannot be implemented and which is not desired by the French, otherwise they would have placed us in cohabitation”, she considers.

As for the deputies of the National Rally, according to Aurore Bergé, "they are mostly hidden".

"I did not hear the voice of far-right deputies throughout the reform. We could not debate with them in the hemicycle because they hid," she insists.

Returning to the words of Olivier Dussopt, the president of the Renaissance group in the Assembly affirms that the Minister of Labor "did not say that the RN is republican".

For her, "rebellious France favors by its behavior, by its excesses, by its insults, the far right. Rebellious France has become a screen behind which the far right can hide because it has only one thing to do: keep quiet to appear more respectable. Unfortunately, this confirms that rebellious France favors the rise of the far right in France", she concluded at the microphone of the Grand Rendez-vous.
