According to RT, a significant part of the 120 mm mortars, anti-tank systems of Soviet and foreign production, as well as self-propelled artillery guns were destroyed or seriously damaged in battle or left due to the lack of equipment for the evacuation and fire control of the Russian Armed Forces over the Khromovo-Chasov Yar routes and Krasnoe (Ivanovskoye) - Konstantinovka.

Due to the shortage of heavy weapons, the D-20 122 mm and D-30 152 mm howitzers in service with the 43rd artillery brigade, covering the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Artyomovsk, began to fail much more often.

Presumably, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are going to solve the problem of a shortage of weapons by transferring artillery and heavy equipment from other directions, including artillery battalions of the 47th artillery brigade and the 302nd anti-aircraft missile regiment (S-300PS) from the Kharkov region.

According to preliminary data, it may take from five weeks to three months to replenish the losses of heavy weapons left and destroyed in Artyomovsk and the surrounding area.

Earlier, the founder of the Wagner group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, stated that Artyomovsk was practically encircled.
