At first, Maria Lundmark had not intended to go with Folke to the competition in Boden.
That Folke, or "Lyckowargens Lyckohunung" as he is actually named, then went on to win the coveted title of Norrbotten's most beautiful dog came as a big surprise.
- I am in shock.
We were there for Folke to see and learn and I never thought that my 75 kilo wolfdog would win, says Lundmark.
93 centimeters height at the withers
The height at the withers measures a whopping 93 centimeters Maria Lundmark says that the competition was fierce.
Other dogs in the starting field were already meritorious with best of breed or best of breed with the opposite sex or champion.
- It is usually smaller dog breeds such as poodles that win.
