He stated this during a meeting with the director general of the agency, Rafael Grossi, who is currently on a visit to Tehran.
According to TASS, the Iranian leader emphasized the need to preserve the independence of the IAEA and respect the rights of the Iranian people in bilateral cooperation with the agency.
Earlier, Grossi held talks in Tehran with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
