Historically Yours brings together 3 characters who go straight to Detroit: Henry Ford, the industrialist with a contrasting destiny who made Detroit the city of engines by setting up his huge factory from which his Ford T emerged, at an infernal pace, which brought the United States in the age of mass consumption.
Then he went straight, literally, straight to the New World: the French adventurer Antoine de Lamothe-Cadillac left for America, with the approval of the king, and who founded the city of Detroit there.
And a star from Detroit who went straight to the mythical Motown label and conquered the whole world with her soulful, disco and R'n'b hits: Diana Ross.
