It was on the third of November 2020 that Ziad was shot to death with several shots at the University of Borås.
Just over two years later, the indictment is now coming against a man who is accused of murder.
He is also charged with the attempted murder of another person who was with Ziad and with serious weapons offences.
The accused man has been in custody since September 2022.
Trial of the murder investigation
At the same time as the indictment against the suspect is coming, a trial is underway at the Borås District Court.
Two police officers are charged with, among other things, gross misconduct.
They are suspected of having conducted their own investigation, into the murder of Ziad, alongside the real murder investigation.
There, the well-known lawyer Björn Hurtig is also charged, suspected of bribing one of the police officers.
