Every day, Europe 1 looks at an idea or a problem in your daily life.

It's a new kind of supermarket that opened near Alès.

"Toujust", a brand that does not define itself as a hard discounter, intends to save money for its customers by eliminating intermediaries.

Did you just?

In any case, this is what the "Toujust" brand wishes you, a new supermarket which wants to cut prices and whose first store has just opened in the Gard.

To achieve this, on the shelves of the latter, many products do not display any brand.

"These are not first-price products at all, they are white label products", explains at the microphone of Europe 1, Fabrice Gerber, the founder of "Toujust".

"This is what we call in our jargon, no name", these unbranded products.

“For example, you have a well-known brand oil which is 3.75 euros and you have the white label oil which is 1.39 euros,” he continues.

In total, the brand boasts of being 5 to 10% cheaper than the competition.

To achieve this, the creator of the teacher created direct partnerships with producers.

In fact, "we eliminate intermediaries. That is to say, we go directly to the breeder, to the manufacturer and we have a contract directly with him, which saves us from having to overlay, which will obviously create inflation", insists Fabrice Gerber.

Consumers ready to shake up their habits

But, at a time of record inflation, customers will have to learn to do without the big brands, he says.

A change of habit already well understood by its customers.

"Me, I'm going for the cheapest, like everyone I think at the moment. But hey, I'm aiming for cheaper products, but of quality all the same", explains a customer of the store to Europe 1. And the founder of these supermarkets hopes to open around forty across France by the end of the year.
