Lindberg became "The Bull" with the supporters when he had the HV bull tattooed on top of his head.

Since then, the nickname has lived on and he has often had a special relationship with the players in HV71 via his small office opposite the men's team's dressing room.

- Janne will have a special place in HV heaven and his commitment to his beloved HV71 has meant a lot over the years.

Today we think of all the memories he gave us, but also of his children and grandchildren in this difficult time, says head coach Johan Lindbom in a press release from HV71.

Helped with everyday chores

"The bull" was in the 90s the goal judge in the then Rosenlundshallen.

Then when Kinnarp's arena was built in 2000, he was one of all the non-profit forces that helped during the construction.

- When the arena was ready, Janne also stayed and helped with many of the everyday chores.

It was everything from taking care of the away team and the referees to helping with company hockey.

HV71 became Janne's life and whenever you came to the arena you could be sure that Janne was there.

A zealot who meant a lot to HV71, says Bengt Halvardsson, former arena manager in HV71.
