Regarding TikTok, a video sharing app operated by a Chinese company, the EU = European Union parliament and the European parliament have banned the use of business terminals from this month as caution is heightened in Europe and the United States over whether information may be leaked to the Chinese government. The European Parliament has notified officials that it will ban the use of TikTok on business mobile phones and devices from the 20th of this month, citing cybersecurity concerns, and asked them to remove the app as soon as possible.



After the 20th, access to the TikTok website from business computers through the parliamentary network will also be blocked.
