No less than six drones, presumably Ukrainian, fell overnight from Monday to Tuesday February 28 on Russian soil.

While some have crashed without causing damage, it is an incursion on a scale never before seen in Federation airspace, and one that could well have been coordinated by Ukraine.

It is also the first time that devices launched, in all likelihood, from Ukraine have penetrated so deeply into Russian territory.

A drone thus fell on Tuesday just 75 kilometers from Moscow, near a station of the gas giant Gazprom and not far from a military site.

The drone was confirmed as "

foreign

" by Russian authorities, and did not explode on impact.

It could therefore be a coordinated effort, since at the same time several attack drones fell in southern Russia, near different strategic sites.

The Belgorod region, regularly targeted, was again targeted by three drones.

A fuel depot in the Krasnodar region was also hit, 70 kilometers from one of Vladimir Putin's luxurious residences.

Even more disturbing, the airspace 200 kilometers around Saint Petersburg was closed for several hours on Tuesday morning.

According to various testimonies, an unidentified flying object was seen in the region of the second largest city in Russia, yet located more than 1,000 kilometers from kyiv.

Note that some of these drones did not contain explosives.

This makes various military experts think that these were also reconnaissance flights by the Ukrainian command.

Or to test Russia's air defenses.

Ukrainian drones are in any case capable of flying further and further into Russian territory.

For the independent media

Meduza

, this multiple incursion could mark the entry into a new phase of the war.
