In order to reduce misrepresentation, which has become a problem in Internet advertising, the revised bill includes tightening regulations on businesses that publish malicious advertisements.



Specifically, there are provisions that impose fines of up to 1 million yen without administrative punishment on businesses that intentionally lie or make exaggerated advertisements, and if they repeat violations within a certain period of time. , new provisions such as increasing the amount of surcharge by 1.5 times.



In addition, in order to promptly improve advertisements that are suspected of violating the law, the law includes the introduction of a system in which business operators can be exempted from administrative punishment if they voluntarily submit an improvement plan and it is approved.
