Today (27th) morning, the results of the preliminary evaluation of the top ten new archaeological discoveries in the country in 2022 were announced in Beijing, and 22 projects were shortlisted for the final evaluation stage.

  The promotion of the top ten new archaeological discoveries in the country in 2022 will be launched in early February 2023. All candidate projects will be actively applied by various excavation qualification units across the country. After review by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, 32 projects will be finally determined to participate in the evaluation.

The promotion activity office organized experts to vote, and recommended 22 projects to enter the final evaluation stage.
