He said, citing his own sources, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered heavy losses during active battles last week.

According to Marochko, the Ukrainian command, based on the operational situation, undertook the tactics of blind defense in order to restore the combat capability of its units.

“Failing to reach the required numbers in terms of numbers and weapons, and also neglecting the reports of commanders on the ground about their incompetence, yesterday the higher military leadership gave orders to proceed to offensive actions,” Marochko wrote on Telegram.

According to him, as a result of the counterattack, the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered “unreasonable losses” and were forced to return to their previously occupied lines.

In addition, Marochko spoke about the movement of foreign mercenaries on regular minibus flights from Kupyansk in the direction of Svatov.

According to him, this is due to the fact that foreigners refuse to live in the trenches and demand normal living conditions.

Rogov - on the consequences of a possible offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, believes that the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern direction can lead to a decisive battle of the special military operation.

“If the Zelensky regime turns up, it will lay down a large number of its militants, and these losses will become irreparable for it, which will allow breaking the back of this regime,” RIA Novosti quotes Rogov.

According to him, the offensive of Ukrainian troops in the south could be fatal for Kyiv, but it is precisely such a decision, Rogov believes, that is pushing the West through.

“These plans are well known to our side, and our military is ready to defend Russia’s borders from the upcoming aggression,” he said.

In addition, on his Telegram channel, Rogov reported on the explosions in the city of Zaporozhye, controlled by Kyiv, that occurred on Monday night.

According to Rogov, at least three explosions sounded in the city.

Presumably, the purpose of the strikes were ammunition depots and military equipment, as well as infrastructure facilities.
