Referring to the experience of prevention and control around the world, The Response Coordination Center adjusted the measures requiring masks to be worn from the 27th.

  The Response Coordination Center stated that under normal circumstances, all people staying in outdoor places are not required to wear masks. Drivers and passengers of means of transportation (except taxis) must continue to wear masks; for other indoor places and means of transportation, the competent entity shall decide according to the prevailing epidemic situation, the air circulation in the place or means of transportation, the number and density of people, and activities. Factors such as nature and duration, self-assess and decide whether to require people entering the venue or taking the vehicle to wear masks; if masks are required, they should be announced or notified in an appropriate manner.

  In some specific situations, such as large-scale gathering activities, cluster infections in nurseries and non-higher education institutions, or peak epidemics in Macao, the organizer or competent entity should require personnel entering the relevant places to wear masks; when individuals have fever, Masks should also be worn when flu-like symptoms such as myalgia, sore throat, cough or runny nose; infants and young children under 3 years old do not need to wear masks when entering any place.

  The Response Coordination Center emphasized that if the new crown epidemic situation changes, the requirements for wearing masks in indoor places will be adjusted again according to the actual situation. Residents are advised to prepare masks when they go out daily, so that they can be worn when necessary, and they can be stored at home for at least 2 weeks. In addition, if there are suspected symptoms such as fever, myalgia, sore throat, cough, runny nose, etc., you should perform a rapid antigen test by yourself or go to a medical institution for a nucleic acid test. The declaration results of the reporting platform can not only record their own infection status, but also assist the authorities to accurately monitor the epidemic situation in Macau.
