  The Canadian government will also donate more than 32 million Canadian dollars to Uzbekistan to support its mine clearance, response to biochemical and radiological threats, and address conflict-related sexual violence.

  Canada’s new sanctions against Russia include additional sanctions on 122 individuals and 13 entities, including members of the lower house of the Russian parliament, Russian deputy prime ministers and ministers, Russian president’s office and military personnel, family members of previously sanctioned individuals, and 13 entities; 7 individuals and 50 defense entities in the defense industry; the export of certain chemical elements used in electronic products to Russia is prohibited, and the import and purchase of Russian weapons and ammunition from Russia is prohibited.

  The Canadian side will also push all parties to "strike" the "unfair trade practices" of Russia and Belarus through artificial intervention in prices.

  Since the full escalation of the Ukraine crisis, Canada has cumulatively committed more than $5 billion in military, financial, humanitarian and other assistance to Ukraine.
