This is reported by the agency DHA.

“A funnel with a diameter of 100 meters and a depth of 12-15 meters appeared in an open field in the village of Karapinar,” the report says.

The causes of the natural phenomenon have not yet been established, however, according to one of the experts, the funnel has nothing to do with the recent earthquakes that occurred in Turkey.

Earlier it was reported that the number of earthquake victims in Turkey exceeded 44 thousand.

Chief Researcher of the Institute of Earthquake Prediction Theory and Mathematical Geophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Alexander Gorshkov spoke about a number of recent earthquakes.

Also, seismologist Ruben Tatevosyan warned of the risk of a repeat of the tremors in Turkey.
