cold maritime polar air mass

, icy and humid, will favor this Thursday in the Community of Madrid

snowfall at very low levels, 600-700 meters

, with accumulations of 5 centimeters of snow above 1000-1200 meters and a freezing environment with values ​​that may drop to zero degrees.

The instability will place some thirty provinces of eleven autonomous communities at

significant risk

(orange warning) and risk (yellow warning), according to the

State Meteorological Agency

), which forecasts that temperatures

significantly in the northern half.

will affect Zaragoza, Cantabria, Burgos, Palencia, Valladolid, Soria, Navarra and Álava, where six centimeters of snow will accumulate in 24 hours, while in Huesca and Lleida up

In this sense, Ávila, Burgos, León, Palencia, Salamanca, Segovia, Soria, Zamora, Guadalajara, La Rioja and Huesca will be on

In general, the AEMET foresees an

increase in instability
