Faced with the inflation of food products, the Rural Families association is asking the government to create a monthly allowance of 65 euros to help the poorest households to eat healthily.
In its observatory of annual prices published on February 22, the association assesses average food inflation at more than 12% last year, a price increase which is limited to 8.3% for “healthy” products.
