We have selected for you five absolute premieres that can be seen at the festival.

The film is the opening of the festival, "Boys Battalion Vostok".

A few days in the life of the fighters of the Vostok battalion, who have been defending the independence of Donbass for nine years.

The film was shot on the front line, 300 meters from the enemy.

The film crew spent days and nights with the heroes under mortar attacks.

The guys are used to constant risk and even under bullets they rejoice at the echoes of a peaceful life, a cup of coffee or a candy.

They fight against the Ukrainian Nazis, stand up for each other and dream of returning to their families.

Some are on the front line because of their daughter, others are driven by conviction.

All of them are united by one thing - selfless faith in the rightness of their cause and unconditional victory.

"Red November"

A film by military correspondent, poet Semyon Pegov, created on the basis of the poetic cycle "Red November", which is read by the author himself.

The cycle was written after the military correspondent was wounded.

Especially for the RT channel.

“Red November is like a year.

Like a tiger sharpening its fringes -

Jumps over the ditches, combed like ulcers,

On the body of my Fatherland, torn to orders ... "

The music for the film was created in the improvisation mode, on the front lines, to the sound of artillery and in hospitals, where Semyon Pegov performed with his poems, as well as the famous saxophonist Sergei Golovnya and guitarist German Osipov.

The author himself calls his cinema an attempt at creative reflection around the NWO, improvisation at the intersection of cinema, music and poetry.

A big experiment that the team presents as a film-poem.

Production: Project WarGonzo.

Author: Semyon Pegov.

Director: Vladislav Zizdok.

"Donbass.

That's why I'm here"

A story about people who are at the very center of the information war.

They are at the forefront, because being an objective journalist means being constantly under the gun.

They always have opponents - those whom journalists stepped on a sore spot.

And if we are not talking about a single person, but about a whole state, a certain ideology or an influential military structure, then the situation for those who went against them will be especially dangerous.

In the center of the story are documentary journalists Mark Bartalmay (Germany), Janus Putkonen (Finland), journalists, reporters George Elison (USA), Vittorio Nicola Rangeloni (Italy), Johnny Miller (Great Britain), Julian Assange (Australia).

These are people who can be safely called the heroes of our information age.

Production: RT documentary channel and AstraArt LLC.

Author and director: Tatyana Borsch (Wiener).

"One step"

From returning to their former lives, these guys are one step away, for which great willpower is needed.

They were seriously injured: Victor lost his right arm and leg in battle, Vitaly lost both legs.

In the prosthetics center in Kursk, new prostheses are already ready for the fighters.

And now the hardest part lies ahead: learning to walk again.

The film "One Step" is about the courage of real heroes: military men who overcome difficulties for the sake of a future life, and doctors who help them go through this path.

Author and director: Ekaterina Zaitseva.

Closing film of the festival "Brothers"

They could not stand aside when the Motherland was in danger.

Every day, hundreds of ordinary men come to sign up as volunteers for SVO in different parts of our country: from Bashkiria to Primorye, from the Krasnodar Territory to Siberia.

Who are they - Russian volunteers - and why are they so rushing to the front line?

Is it possible to become a volunteer at the age of 60 or if you have not served in the army?

For the first time, viewers will see how volunteer battalions are formed, how combat coordination takes place, and why ordinary guys - yesterday's programmers, businessmen and workers - are in such a hurry to help their own people in the zone of a special military operation.

The Bashkir battalion named after Salavat Yulaev, the Kuban Cossack detachment "BARS-16", the coastal detachment "Tiger" - the film "Brothers" is dedicated to the defenders at the call of the heart.
