“The Ministry of Agriculture compensates part of the cost of transporting agricultural products.
From February 27 to November 1, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and REC JSC will conduct a selection of applications for compensation of part of the costs of transporting agricultural products.
Funds in the amount of 7 billion rubles are provided for the financial support of the mechanism from the federal budget, ”the statement on the ministry’s website says.
It is emphasized that the subsidy is aimed at reducing the costs of organizations in the transportation of products to ensure food security in Russia.
It is clarified that producers and suppliers of agricultural products, including exporters, will be able to compensate up to 25% of the cost of transporting their products if they were delivered in the third and fourth quarters of last year, as well as in the first and second quarters of this year.
Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture said that Russian food exports in 2022 increased by almost 12%.
