The police receive an alert about a bloody man in a stairwell in central Borås.

The man is said to have knocked on several neighbours' doors.

One of them is Peter.

- He looks threatening and the whole thing looks unpleasant, I don't feel safe opening the door, he says.

Was on the checkout line in a grocery store

But already in the afternoon the day before, he is said to have been taken into custody by the police in a grocery store when he stood up on the checkout line.

According to Borås Tidning, the father drove his son to the psychiatric emergency department, but he was not registered.

But the hospital denies the information.

We do not have any applicants with the case problem at the current time.

We have checked surveillance footage from 18.00 on Saturday evening until the night of Sunday and we have not seen any applicant with that profile, says Magnus Skog, who is the head of psychiatry.

Got into the garage of the police station

The prosecutor states that the suspect must have gone to the police station in Borås after the murder.

According to information given to SVT Nyheter Väst, the murder suspect must have been able to do it as there were flaws in the routines surrounding the entry and exit to the garage.

- I am not commenting on our current security measures, but the security department owns the issue, says Peter Sörstedt, head of the Älvsborg police area.

The man, who is in his 20s, has now been arrested and has been remanded in custody.

The detention hearing will be held on Wednesday afternoon.
