In January, Cedergrens had to kill roughly 164,000 chickens after salmonella bacteria was discovered in one of the stables.

Now it has happened again, which the Barometer was the first to report.

- It is a different stable this time, the other one we are still cleaning up, says Maud Cedergren, operations manager at the company.

On Monday evening, Ica and Axfood announced that they are recalling several egg packages from the supplier, after they were found to be contaminated with salmonella.

What the outbreak is due to, Cedergrens does not want to comment on yet.

- It's too early to tell, that's the way it is.

We must be allowed to work on this in peace now, and refer to the Swedish Agency for Agriculture, says Maud Cedergren.

SVT seeks the Swedish Agricultural Agency for a comment.
