China News Agency, Nanjing, February 21 (Reporter Yang Yanci) As the cold air swept southward across the Yangtze River Delta region of China, the issuance of the "Spring Experience Card" was suspended.

Since the 21st, the temperature in many places in the Yangtze River Delta has risen all the way from "hurricane" to "speed skating" overnight cooling, falling into a "tug of war" in winter and spring.

Under the alternation of warm and cold air, the temperature in the Yangtze River Delta has dropped from the beginning of "2" to single digits, and the report will be postponed in spring.

According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, as the cold air passes southward, its residual forces will continue to affect Jianghuai, Jiangnan and South China, bringing cooling, precipitation and windy weather.

Within a week, the cold air will "two brush" the Yangtze River Delta.

In many places in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui, the spring "experience" brought about by the warming ahead will be paused immediately, and the warm spring that seems to be "one step away" will come to an abrupt end.

With the cold air arriving on time, the temperature in many places began to plunge.

According to the Jiangsu Meteorological Department, there will be two cold air processes in the province this week, from the 20th to the 21st and from the 24th to the 25th. When the cold air passes through, it will bring strong winds to cool down.

At 10 o'clock on the 21st, the temperature in the province generally dropped by 4°C to 5°C compared with the same period on the 20th, and in some areas it dropped by 6°C to 7°C, accompanied by freezing.

Affected by the replenishment of cold air, Shanghai ushered in strong winds and cooling weather, and the temperature in some areas fell below freezing point.

The Shanghai Meteorological Department predicts that starting this week, the warm and humid air and cold air will frequently exchange "control", the temperature will start a "tug of war", and the temperature difference between morning and evening will increase.

At the same time, the wind chill effect is obvious, and the body feels colder.

In Hangzhou, the local maximum temperature reached 23.8°C on the 18th, a record high for the same period.

With the arrival of this round of cold air, the temperature in Zhejiang has dropped to single digits.

According to reports from the local meteorological department, the temperature in Hangzhou was only 5.6°C at 6:00 on the 21st, and it is expected to continue to drop this week.

The Zhejiang Meteorological Department stated that there is a standard for spring in the meteorological sense, that is, the sliding average temperature exceeds 10°C for 5 consecutive days.

Generally speaking, after entering the "rain" solar term, the temperature enters the "fast lane" of warming.

However, affected by the cold air, the temperature will continue to be low this week, and spring is expected to be hopeless in February.
