At the end of last year, two previously excluded SD politicians were voted into positions of trust in the municipality, positions that were weighted for the Sweden Democrats.

Both were active in the Nazi organization NSF in Klippan during the 1990s and early 2000s and a few years ago both were forced to leave the SD because of their past.

Criticism from the central party was harsh.

- We naturally take this very seriously, said Mikael Eskilandersson, chairman of SD Skåne, to SVT.

12 politicians excluded from SD

Shortly afterwards, the party announced that it had started an exclusion case and on Monday evening the decision came: 12 SD politicians in Klippan are kicked out of the party.

One of them is Jonas Luckman, also chairman of the local party association.

- Are we excluded?

I haven't been told that, he says when SVT calls.

He continues:

- This is deeply problematic for democracy.

Who would dare to form a majority with SD when they know how top-managed the party is?

Unclear if they become "wild"

It is still unclear whether Jonas Luckman and the other elected officials who are now excluded choose to remain as non-party members of the council, so-called political savages.

- It is one of the things that we can discuss now, he says.

Have to restart in Klippan

Mikael Eskilandersson says that he does not know how the reasoning went in the party leadership when the decision on exclusion was made.

- But now we have to restart the entire Klippanföreningen.

Everyone who sits on the board is excluded now, he says.

Today SD Klippan rules in a majority together with KD, Vår frámt i Klippan and two moderates.
