The Chinese government has denied considering supplying arms to Russia to support its offensive in Ukraine, as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed on Sunday. 

"We do not accept the United States pointing fingers at China-Russia relations, let alone exerting pressure and coercion," said Wang Wenbin, a spokesman for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Foreign Affairs, accusing the United States of "spreading false information".

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has arrived in Moscow for talks on a possible peace plan for Ukraine, Russian business daily Kommersant reported.

At the annual Munich security conference, Wang Yi accused the United States of violating international norms through "hysterical" behavior.

He reiterated his call for dialogue and suggested European countries "think calmly" about how to end the war.

Wang Yi also said there were "some forces that apparently don't want the negotiations to be successful or the war to end soon", without specifying who he was referring to.

US President Joe Biden is due to visit Poland to mark the one-year anniversary of Russia's invasion of neighboring Ukraine, which said it was inflicting heavy casualties on Moscow's forces in Europe's biggest conflict since World War II.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said Sunday that he and Joe Biden would discuss the possibility of increasing the US troop presence in Poland and making it more permanent.

Joe Biden, who is to remain in Poland until Wednesday, said last June that the United States would set up a new permanent military headquarters in Poland in response to Russian threats.
