It was last Friday that the police raided an address in Skogås, south of Stockholm.

The effort led to the Prosecutor's Office starting a preliminary investigation regarding, among other things, kidnapping.

According to Aftonbladet, the suspects had kept a minor girl confined.

The lawyer: expects that the suspicions will be dismissed

On Sunday afternoon, the Prosecutor's Office released a press release announcing that three people, two women and a man, had been released on suspicion of involvement in the case.

- An interrogation was held today and after that the police told me that she would be released, says one of the women's lawyers, Jakob Lindgren, to SVT.

Since the woman was not arrested, he now expects that the suspicions against his client will be dismissed.

- I think it is a reasonable assessment.

I find it very difficult to see that she would still be a suspect for such a serious crime as kidnapping and at the same time be released, he says.

However, according to the Public Prosecutor's Office, none of the released persons have been removed from the investigation.

A man is suspected of aggravated rape against a child

The Prosecutor's Office's press release also states that a man is still in custody.

He is suspected of aggravated rape against a child, kidnapping and aggravated weapons offences.

- He will be remanded in custody tomorrow in Södertörn district court, says senior prosecutor Tove Kullberg in a press release.
