The famous Turkish chef, Burak Ozdemir, launched a campaign to sell two shirts signed by Argentine star Lionel Messi and Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldinho, in order to donate their price to the earthquake victims in Turkey.

Burak participated, through his personal account on Instagram, today, Sunday, with videos and pictures of shirt number “10” in the Brazilian national team, which was worn by the “magician” Ronaldinho, and shirt number “30” worn by Messi, the star of the French club Paris Saint-Germain.

Burak appeared in a video showing the two shirts, saying that since the earthquake began, everyone has been trying to do everything they can to help Turkey after the devastating earthquake that left tens of thousands of victims and injured, so he decided to sell the two shirts and donate their price to the institutions concerned with helping those affected.

The videos showed the moments of signing the two shirts from the players, in addition to their presentation by Burak, who explained that the offers on shirt prices will continue until next Wednesday evening, explaining the communication mechanism to receive offers.

Hours after the earthquake occurred in Turkey, Chef Burak appeared, crying deeply and issuing a cry for help to those affected by the earthquake who were under the rubble.

On Wednesday evening, 213 TV stations and 562 radio stations inside and outside Turkey broadcast a joint campaign called "Turkey is One Heart", with Turkish celebrities participating in it live.

The campaign, which was broadcast by channels and radio stations in Turkey, Azerbaijan and Turkish Cyprus, received wide support from businessmen, companies, politicians, athletes and actors.

Over the course of 7 hours of live broadcasting, the campaign received large donations amounting to 115 billion and 146 million and 528 thousand Turkish liras (about $6.1 billion), according to the official Anadolu Agency.

At dawn on February 6, an earthquake of 7.7 degrees struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, followed by another hours later with a magnitude of 7.6 and hundreds of violent aftershocks, which left great losses in lives and property in both countries.

The earthquake caused massive damage in southern Turkey and northwestern Syria, killing 40,689 people in Turkey, according to the latest official toll announced by the Turkish Disaster Management Authority today, Sunday.
