Information about this follows from the order of the President, published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
“To allow GPN-Middle East Projects LLC to make transactions to acquire a 50% stake in the authorized capital of Salym Petroleum Development LLC, owned by Shell Salym Development B.V.,” the order says.
It is noted that these transactions do not require obtaining other permits and approvals.
Earlier, Shell signed documents with Gazprom Neft on the sale of its stake in the Salym joint venture.
It was also reported that the Russian government estimated Shell's share in the Sakhalin-2 oil and gas project at 94.8 billion rubles.
